PERRYVILLE MAYFEST
Mayfest is held annually on The Square on Friday and Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend.  Events include a Parade, Craft Fair, Quilt Show, The Jaycees' Bed Race, Car & Tractor Shows, Youth Art Show, eight bands, carnival rides, contests, Perryville Optimist Soccer Tournament, street dances and special attractions.  The event is sponsored by the Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce.

PERRY COUNTY COMMUNITY RODEO
Perry County Community Rodeo is held at the Fair Grounds in Altenburg, MO.  This fun filled event includes everything from Barrel Racing to Bull Riding.  This event is sponsored by the Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce, East Perry Community Fair Board and East Perry County Jaycees. 

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SEMINARY PICNIC
The Seminary Picnic, a family tradition, is held on the first full weekend in August.  It is held at the Seminary Grove in Perryville and is sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Parish.  Events include a family style meal, hand crafted quilts, concessions, rides, quilt bingo and live entertainment.

EAST PERRY COMMUNITY FAIR
"The Biggest (and Best) Little Fair in the Land" is held on the weekend after Labor Day in September at the Fairgrounds in Altenburg.  Events include 4-H exhibits, livestock judging, crafts, jumping mules competition, tractor pulls, horse show, rides, local foods, live entertainment and attendance prizes.

SAXON FALL FESTIVAL
The Saxon Fall Festival is held in October at the Saxon Lutheran Memorial in Frohna.  It features apple butter cooking in 30 gallon copper kettles over open fire, displays and demonstrations of various arts and crafts, local foods and special performances by the "Kinderchor".
