Annual May Procession to the Seminary Grotto is held every year on the
first Sunday of May. The Procession starts at the St. Marys of the Barrens
Seminary Church and proceeds on to the Grotto. For more information call

MAYFEST FIESTA 2010
Held annually "On the Square" in Perryville on Friday and Saturday of Mother’s Day Weekend. Perryville’s Mayfest has something for everyone - Parade, Craft Fair, Quilt Show, Bed Races, Antique Car & Tractor Show, Youth Art Show, Live Entertainment including Country, Gospel, Bluegrass; 5-K Run, Carnival Rides, Contests, Local Foods, Street Dances and Special Attractions. 40 mile tractor parade starting at 8:30 a.m.. The parade will
begin at the Seminary
Grounds then traveling down St. Joseph Street to the courthouse square,
turning left onto Main St. to Hwy 61 Round-about. Right onto Hwy 61
to Smith Street, and left to Ridge Drive. Continuing onto Allens
Landing Road to Independence Drive. Throughout the Nursing Home to
Hwy 61 to Hwy 51 bypass. Left unto Hwy 51 bypass to rest at
Richardet Farms and then on to PCR 710. Right onto PCR 710 to State
Route CC. Right on CC to Route T. The noon meal will be served
at Silver Lake Grove. Then Route T to Route N. Turn left onto
N and travel to PCR 810. Turn right onto PCR 810 to PCR
806. Left onto 806 to Route M. Cross the I55 and turn right
onto PCR 814 Travel PCR 814 about 3/4 mile and turn right onto Shady
Lane. The afternoon stop will be in Brewer, near the chuch.
After the stop, cross Hwy 61 onto Route M and travel to PCR 906.
Turn right onto Route V to Hwy 61. Then cross Hwy 61 onto Sycamore
Rd. This will take you back to the seminary grounds.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SEMINARY PICNIC, Perryville, MO
"Where friends meet friends from everywhere," the Seminary Picnic has been a family tradition in Perry County for 109 years. The event is held the first full weekend in August at the Seminary Grove off T Road, 5 acre picnic grounds with 36 acres of parking. Events include a chicken and beef buffet style meal, Hand Crafted Quilt Bingo, Concessions, Rides, Antique Carousel and Live Entertainment. Sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
